Upon completion of your studies, you will receive a comprehensive academic report and completion certificate to take home. If you enjoy your time here, you can also choose to join the full GCSE or A Level course and complete your university studies in the UK or at home.

Course overview

You will be joining students from around the world studying on our established GCSE (14–16 years) and A Level (16–18 years) programmes. Your weekly study programme will be a combination of academic subjects and English language lessons.

Full board accommodation will be included in one of our college boarding houses.

The fees listed cover tuition and boarding for the stated duration of study.

Adyan

Destination: King’s College London to study History

Adyan joined DLD College having been educated in Canada. He adapted rapidly to the British system and impressed us immediately with his scholarly approach. His love of History was evident. Rarely have we come across a student with such a voracious appetite for academic books, so many titles that he did not have enough room to mention them in his personal statement! He is memorable for his questioning of eminent historians such as Robert Service in the public lectures he attended through his genuine enjoyment of learning, not because he wished to impress university admissions tutors.

Mathieu

Destination: University of Bristol to study Mathematics & Computer Science

Mathieu is a superb mathematician, a rigorous logician, and an ambitious programmer. He came to DLD College in September 2017 from Collège Trinité in Montréal, Canada, and upon arrival demonstrated his keen intellect and ambition. Mathieu had a well-developed interest in artificial intelligence – specifically neural networks and deep learning, and he demonstrated his insights in a personal project investigating the use of Big Data and Machine Learning in consumer credit rating assessments. Mathieu’s problem-solving skills meant that he could apply himself meticulously to challenging tasks; his conceptual ability saw him excel in all of his academic disciplines, achieving the highest possible grades across the board.
