Celebrating Success at DLD: Staff and Student Named Finalists in Prestigious Awards

We are proud to celebrate two outstanding achievements within our school community, as Scott Webster, Houseparent and Anna K have both been recognised as finalists in prestigious national awards.

A huge congratulations to Scott Webster, who has been named a finalist in the 2025 Boarding Schools’ Association (BSA) Supporting Excellence Awards. Scott’s dedication to supporting our international boarders—through a compassionate, tailored approach to induction, wellbeing, and pastoral care—has had a profound impact on students’ experiences at DLD. His commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive boarding environment has been rightly recognised on the national stage.

We are also thrilled to announce that Anna K (Year 11) is a finalist in the Khadija Saye Photography Award, a prestigious competition that celebrates emerging talent in the world of photography. Anna’s creative vision and technical skill are a testament to the incredible talent nurtured within our Art Department, which continues to inspire and support students in producing exceptional work.
