House Football Tournament

18th October 24

What a fantastic evening of football we witnessed on Monday! The House Football Competition brought out some of the best talent, fierce competition, and most importantly, a fantastic sense of house spirit across the board. From the first whistle, the excitement was palpable, and the matches did not disappoint.

From breath-taking goals to last-minute tackles, the level of play was excellent! Students battled it out on the field with relentless energy, showcasing teamwork, determination, and plenty of flair. But it wasn’t just about the players – the atmosphere on the sidelines was just as electric. It was heart warming to see staff and students passionately cheering on their houses, decked out in house colours and showing their pride.

The house spirit is clearly alive and thriving, and Monday’s event was a perfect example of how this culture continues to grow. The camaraderie, sportsmanship, and unity on display were something truly special.

A huge congratulations to all students who took part. Every house should be incredibly proud of their teams, but special recognition goes to Jubilee House for pulling off the ultimate upset! After the past few year’s of Northern House’s dominance, Jubilee rose to the occasion and claimed the crown!

The next event on the calendar is the House (Mixed) Netball Competition on Wednesday 20th  November. With the bar set this high, we can’t wait to see what’s in store!

Let’s keep the house spirit alive – on to the next challenge!
