From time to time, I remind my Piccadillians of the story of The Tortoise and The Hare. At the start of the race, the Hare sprinted off as fast as he could whilst the Tortoise maintained a slow, steady pace. The Hare became tired very quickly and slept and the Tortoise ultimately won! We may have had a slow start in terms of House Points but slowly and surely, Piccadilly is gaining ground. This week, we were delighted to celebrate Eva and Tg, both of whom have been awarded with a bronze certificate for receiving 50 House Points. The league tables show that it won’t be long before other students receive theirs.
As proud Piccadillians, our Netball team was ready and eager to play in the house competition on Wednesday; unfortunately this event had to be postponed. However, students are looking forward to representing the house in the Photography, Table Tennis, Basketball and Debating competitions that will be held during the remainder of this term. GO PICCADILLY!
