On Friday, DLD College London students celebrated their graduation at the 9th Annual Summer Ball, the first full celebration after Covid19 restrictions. This year’s event, hosted at One Great George Street in the heart of central London, featured a three-course meal, DJ, and dancing!
In-keeping with tradition, a Valedictorian was announced, and the Prom King and Queen were crowned.
June P was honoured to be named Valedictorian.
Ahoora M and Petya C were then crowned Prom King and Queen whilst their classmates cheered on from the dancefloor. The music started back up and the students danced the night away to their favourite song requests played by the DJ.
The Summer Ball was a great event, and it is so important we offer the students this chance to celebrate the end of a year of hard work and commitment. They all deserve it and every single one of them looked incredible.
Special thanks to June, Jason, Noelle, and Kirsty from the Events team, as well as Zerda, Natalia and Jess W for the extra support in planning this massive event.
I was so proud of all the students who attended, and I look forward to planning next year’s Ball.
