Students from Year 11 to Year 13 visited an exhibition on Peru at the British Museum to catch a glimpse of different Central Andean cultures such as Paracas, Nasca, Wari or the best-known Incas dating back to 1000 BC. The exhibition displayed a wide range of pottery and textiles representing interesting aspects of the daily life and rituals of those people. Students will write individual reviews on their favourite objects and what they discovered about these ancient civilizations through their chosen objects.
It was a great cultural experience to complement their Spanish studies and to end this first term.
