6th October 17
Every year, we are delighted to see DLD students achieve places to read undergraduate degrees at the London School of Economics (LSE). At DLD College London, our students benefit from being in very close proximity to the LSE campus and we actively encourage students to attend events in the LSE’s fantastic public lecture programme.
Sarah Mullen, Student Recruitment Coordinator at LSE, visited DLD on 4th October 2017 to talk to some of our students about making successful applications to the LSE and other world class universities.
The talk offered our students a detailed overview on the history of the university, the types of courses available and – perhaps most importantly – what is required from a successful applicant.
With LSE ranked as Europe’s number 1 university for Social Science courses, it was fitting for DLD’s Faculty of Social Science to host this event.
Adam Linert, an Alpha Scholar in the Lower Sixth attended the event and commented, “It’s great that we not only share a city with LSE but also get access to the same exciting learning opportunities that top class university students have”.
